Psalm 127:1
Baptist Faith and Message On behalf of the people of Southern Hills Baptist Church, let me welcome you. At this church you will find friends who will walk with you as you draw nearer to the God who made you. Each church is different. Our goal at Southern Hills is to be a biblical church. We believe that God’s Word is our authority for life and our manual for doing church. I will preach directly from God’s Word every Sunday and we have Bible-based Sunday School classes for all ages. During the week we have ministries for children, youth, adults and seniors that attempt to apply the Word of God to life. But we mean much more when we say we want to be a biblical church. We want to do more than preach the Word, we want to live it. We want to love unconditionally, rejoice continually, worship enthusiastically, and pray fervently. We believe that Jesus Christ is Lord over every person; Lord over every area of life. We are imperfect people, but we want to live in obedience to Christ and His Word. We invite you to come be a part of what God is doing at Southern Hills Baptist Church.
